The consensus mechanism of BTH is POW, which provides fault-tolerant capability for consensus system composed of N consensus nodes. This fault-tolerant capability includes security and availability, can resist general and Byzantine failures, and can be applied to any network environment. Under the POW consensus mechanism of BTH, a block is generated every 20 seconds, and the transaction throughput test can reach about 1000 tps, which has excellent performance in the public chain. Through proper optimization, there should be an opportunity to reach 10,000 TPS, which can support large-scale commercial applications.
